Modernised apartment with a very nice private rooftop terrace.

Pro: The private terrace is very nice for the warmer months . It has a great view of Mount Etna on one side and the sea on the other. The young owners are extremely helpful and welcomed us to the apartment and even helped us with the luggage when we left. The apartment is well equipped and the bed is comfortable,

Contro: As correctly mentioned in the profile there are a lot of stairs both to get to the apartment and inside the apartment. There is a lift but it's a little eccentric.

Pro: We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Catania! The host is absolutely wonderful—warm, friendly, and always ready to provide helpful information and great local recommendations. The apartment itself offers a breathtaking view of Etna, which made every moment on the terrace unforgettable. During our stay, the stairwell was under renovation, so it’s now likely completely refurbished and even nicer. The only small detail to note is that the apartment is on the 4th floor, accessible either by stairs or a very small (two-person) elevator. For us, this was no issue at all—the panoramic views more than made up for it. The apartment itself spans three levels, including a rooftop terrace with an additional bathroom, which made the space feel unique and luxurious. Considering the location, view, and comfort, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. For us, it’s a solid 10/10, and if we come back to Catania, this will definitely be our first choice again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful city

Pro: Beautiful apartment with all amenities provided and a lovely kitchen and table area within the apartment. The terrace was well-used, with fantastic views of Mt. Etna as well as across the city. The host was unfaultable, helpful, contactable and timely. I would highly recommend for a City break or base for exploring the surround regions of Sicily.

Contro: Nothing of significant note.

Pro: The hosts are absolutely amazing - loved everything about them: from their friendliness, to their eagerness to help and provide recommendations and just their overall vibe. Great couple. They are absolutely the stars of the stay but the apartment comes very very close second - absolutely mesmerizing decoration, location, view, everything. A private balcony with Etna view that makes you just wish you lived in this apartment. Very cute bed and room overall. My tips: Be sure to check with the hosts for recommendations on food, drinks, parties, local things to try - they're all really good (at least the ones we tried) and they will ensure you have a good time.

Contro: That we only stayed 2 days - can't wait to return to Catania and stay at Carl & Cettina's :) There really is nothing not to like.

Fantastic apartment with a wonderful large private rooftop terrace

Pro: This was a great apartment for our 7 night stay. On the 4th floor which was accessible by lift to the 3rd floor. Perfect location with lots of restaurants and supermarkets close by. Everything we needed in the apartment for our stay was available and a lot of extra items were provided (shopping bags, hair straighteners, lint roller). It was exceptionally clean. The large rooftop terrace was fabulous with great views of Mt. Etna. Very good air-conditioning. Cettina was a wonderful hostess, providing great tips for our stay and kept in touch regularly in case we had any questions or needed anything. Hopefully we will get to return someday to enjoy this great apartment again.

Pro: The apartment was wonderful. The terrace has an amazing view. You can drink your coffee and admire the whole city, and the best part is that you can also see the beauty of Etna. Carl and Cettina are excellent hosts with good taste. They were very kind and helpful about the places you can visit, and tips about good restaurants and nice bars. The flat is well equipped with everything you need. Also, it's a good thing that the apartment is near the city centre, near the train station and you have a lot of markets nearby. Our stay in Catania was wonderful and filled with a lot of beautiful moments in this apartment.

Pro: I came for rest and remote work. The apartment is perfect for both. The highlight is definitely the private terrace on the rooftop of the building with a stunning view of Etna and the city center. I was impressed how well the apartment is equipped. It helped me focus on my work, without worrying about daily house chores. You can really feel at home. The owners, Carrl and Cettina are very hospitable, friendly, helpful and flexible. The best hosts I`ve ever dealt with. Wish you success with your business :-)

Pro: Wszystko nam się podobało. Apartanent dwupoziomowy godny polecenia, taras na dachu z wspaniałym widokiem na Etnę.

Pro: Die beiden Inhaber sind toll: nett, bemüht, interessiert, freundlich, witzig, rasch antwortend und weiterhelfend, wenn es Probleme gibt. Sie waren auch persönlich zur Schlüsselübergabe anwesend, was ja mittlerweile eher selten ist.

Contro: Nichts. Für manche vielleicht störend: Die unmittelbare Umgebung sieht auf den ersten Blick nicht so sehr einladend aus. Dafür liegt die Unterkunft fußläufig direkt zwischen Busbahnhof und Bahnhof sowie Zentrum. Auch Parkplätze gibt es. Ebenfalls könnten manche Probleme mit den (doch recht vielen) Treppen haben. Aber wer eine schöne Aussicht haben will....

Very nice, clean apartment with incredible views!

Pro: Wonderful apartment and very comfortable. There are many stairs, but the terrace offers amazing views of the city and Mt Etna. The hosts were amazing and very responsive. They provided many recommendations for eats and drinks around the city. This was a great location with most attractions being only a 10 or 15 minute walk, and grocery stores and restaurants being only about 5 minutes away.
