Pro: The location was just a five minute walk to the Duomo and Piazza. Our host was amazing with their communication. Very in the apartment was perfect and working.
Contro: With no lift be prepared for a lot of stairs. A couch in the apartment would be nice but not a deal breaker.

Pro: Accomodation was great, everything was there. Lokation was ok, near the Pellegrino , where we are breakfest, dinner...niear the train station - bus station. Place was quite, we can parking on the street for free.
Contro: There were very noisy guests staying above us, we had to warn them at 01.00 am to be quieter

A really helpful host and a great location within the city.
Pro: We needed to check in early to drop off bags and then come back for my daughter to rest as we had an early flight. The host was amazing, arranging that we could have an early check-in and messaging me when the apartment was ready. I also liked using the key box to check in as it gave us flexibility. I really liked the large terrace with rocking seat. It was very hot weather, so it was great to have air-con in every room. The location was perfect for us as it was near the town but also nice for a walk around the harbour and only ten minutes walk to the train station. I'd highly recommend going to Taormuta on the train, but definitely get a taxi or bus up, don't climb the incredibly steep and long hill. Catania is really lovely. I really liked the gelato shop in the main square and all of the little side streets with restautants. We managed to find gluten free and vegan food.
Contro: I looked at lots of properties and hadn't realised that this didn't have a lounge. I should have looked more carefully rather than assuming. We really needed two sets of keys. If one person stayed in the apartment and the others took the keys, this meant that the person wouldn't be able to get out in the event of a fire because the doorway onto the landing kept getting locked. It wasn't a big problem, just a bit more limiting about staying out late or going out early.

Had a wonderful time in Catania. Lots of local shops, markets and restaurants all easily within walk
Pro: The apartment was clean and spacious with much needed air-conditioning and a well equiped kitchen. The patio was wonderful with great views towards the harbour and an evening display from the local swallows. Location was fantastic. Everything we needed was within walking distance.
Contro: The shower didn't drain very quickly but this was a minor issue.

Great stay
Pro: Very friendly owners, clean, great beds, amazing location and terrace. There was a little noise from the apartment above, mainly due to the sliding of chairs. Pads on the chair legs would also solve this small issue.

Pro: Spacious place. Close to the city center. Very good air condition. Well equiped kitchen.
Contro: The view is not on the harbout. It is on some old buildings. Anyway, the terrace is very spacious and nice

Good base to explore Catania
Pro: The location was really good, halfway between Catania Centrale train station and the Duomo area with all the sights. Superb communication with the hosts and they went out of their way to prepare the apartment early for our arrival. Huge terrace to spend the balmy evenings outside. Stylishly furnished rooms that felt like hotel rooms. The apartment is also very large.
Contro: A bit more of a seaview would’ve been nice but the sideway sunrise was beautiful nonetheless.
