Pro: Beautiful apartment in the very center of the city. The interior is full of beautiful design pieces and this place has its own soul. The views are some of the best we ever had. We can highly recommend stay here.

When considering we left every morning, and came back every evening the Apartment served purpose.

Pro: We stayed 6 nights at Hotel Otto Biscari with my husband and had a great experience. The location is perfect, right in the center, close to everything. The apartment is comfortable, very clean, and has a lot of charm. Paolo, the owner, is extremely polite and helpful, always ready with advice and recommendations. A wonderful stay overall – we highly recommend!

Tranquil apartment with incredible city view!

Pro: Paolo is an incredible host who met us at his beautiful apartment to explain everything. Though this apartment is located on a vibrant street, we found it to be quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the shared spaces were decorated thoughtfully. It was great to have access to a full kitchen and very efficient air conditioning. We’d gladly stay here again!

Contro: There are lots of stairs to access this top floor apartment. Pack light!

Enjoyable stay

Pro: We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Catania! From the moment we arrived, Paolo gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel completely at home. He went above and beyond to ensure our trip was perfect—arranging beach beds, booking taxis, and recommending fantastic local restaurants. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. Paolo was always available with helpful advice and so easy to talk to. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The accommodation is very central to all the best areas.

Contro: The stairs were a killer but dont let that put you off it burns off all the lovely food and wine you will be consuming :)

Spacious and very convenient for sightseeing

Pro: Located in the centre of the historic old town, metro only 7 minutes walk away, only stop on metro to railway and bus station, spacious apartment fully equiped

Contro: Three flights of stairs because I am old

Pro: There are two bathrooms, each with its own toilet. You can have a good view from the rooftop balcony. There is a table and chairs provided where you can have a meal on the rooftop and enjoy the view.

Contro: The four long flights of stairs to reach the apartment. Certainly not a place for the less mobile.

High life in Catania

Pro: The apartment is in a wonderful location, with lots of excellent bars and restaurants nearby. It's is a short walk to the tour bus for trips to Etna, Taormina, and Siracuse, etc. The views are beautiful, and on a clear day, you can see Mt Etna from the roof terrace. The owner, Paolo, is lovely and very helpful.

Contro: You need to be fairly fit as there are over 80 steps up to the apartment, and currently, no lift. Don't take a huge suitcase!
