Comfortable and enjoyable with a nice and helpful host.

Pro: The property itself was stunning and felt quite fancy. The value for money in terms of quality was great. It was about a 10-minute walk to lots of restaurants with street dining.

Contro: The only issue we had was that there wasn’t a fan or any window in the bathroom, otherwise everything else was fantastic. It would have been nice to have been closer to the train station but the walk was ok.

Fantastic view and excellent location

Pro: Clean, nice, and tastefully decorated apartment on the eighth floor (with elevator) with a fantastic view from the two balconies of Etna, the sea, and the entire city. Perfect location with a ten-minute walk to the Duomo and about a 30-minute walk to the long, beautiful sandy beach.

Contro: It would have been nice if there had been a couple of wine glasses, which were missing. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Pro: Spacious, with wonderful views of the city and Mount Etna. Clean and well equipped.

Contro: It was a bit far from the Duomo central area, but sill easily walkable.

Best place to stay

Pro: The apartment is located in city centre. Close to everything. The balcony is amazing, view on the whole city. We loved apartment and check in was smooth. Totally recommend it

Great, spacious apartment in Catania

Pro: This is a really nice, spacious, modern apartment with 2 balconies and nice views, close to the old town. We stayed in 5 different apartments in our recent trip to Sicily and this was definitely the nicest apartment.

Contro: We have absolutely no complaints.

Pro: My stay at Penthouse Garibaldi was absolutely fantastic! The apartment is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped – perfect for both short and longer stays. A major highlight are the two terraces – one with a lovely view over the rooftops of Catania, and the other offering a breathtaking view of Mount Etna. Sipping morning coffee while admiring the volcano was an unforgettable experience! The apartment’s central location makes it easy to explore all the main sights on foot, yet the place remains peaceful and quiet. Communication with the host was smooth – quick, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Catania – and I would love to come back again!

Pro: Gorgeous apartment with amazing views. One of 2 (or 3?) high-rise buildings in the old town of Catania on the main street. Everything is within walking distance (including the bus stop, Basilica of Saint Agatha, fish market, HopOnHopOff buses). The bedroom has an excellent view of Etna, the living room has a view of the sea - whole Catania at your feet. 4 people can live comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a stove, capsule coffee machine and large refrigerator. Thanks for the bonus - a large bottle of mineral water and coffee capsules! :) The bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet, also there is shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, towel set. The apartment has very secure access, on the eighth floor, elevator ride - film it! :) Highly recommend! Giuseppe - Grazie mille per accolto e atteso dopo l'orario di arrivo promesso! Voglio portare qui tutta la mia famiglia :)

Pro: Looked just like in the pictures! Lovely views. The location was good. Thanks for the birthday surprise cake for my 14 year old!

Contro: You can hear the street noise from main bedroom but it was bearable. A lot of stairs but the lift worked .

Amazing for family

Pro: It was amazing appartnent. It could accommodate a family of 4. Very big rooms, big bathroom with all amenities- shampoo, soup, paper, towels. The kitchen very clean, with coffee machine, coffee and sugar. The view was incredible- The sea, the cathedral and Etna! And the place is very close to the Centre. We had a problem with the water, but the host reacted immediately and all was solved fast. Recommend to every family!
