Il Moresco Catania

Pro: Volevo solo ringraziare Giovanni, il totolare della struttura, perché è professionale, gentile, disponibile, ha accolto mia figlia e me e ci ha fatte sentire come fossimo a casa. La struttura è favolosa, dagli arredi a... tutto. Si distingue per la qualità e l'attenzione ai dettagli ed è bellissima. Inoltre la posizione è centralissima, per cui in un attimo sei nella magnifica piazza Duomo, il cuore del centro storico di Catania. Non avrei potuto scegliere di meglio. ❤️

Struttura affascinante che racconta la leggenda dei Mori

Pro: Struttura molto curata, ottima posizione a 200 metri dalla cattedrale mi sono trovato bene e penso ci tornerò. Lo consiglio.

Contro: Essendo al secondo piano anche se le scale sono molto comode avrei messo un ascensore. Comunque il personale è stato gentilissimo e ci ha salito i bagagli con il montacarichi per cui non abbiamo fatto nessuna fatica.

Pro: The receptionist was very friendly. He helped with restaurant ideas. The room was clean.

Contro: Way too expensive for what it offers. It is not a hotel. There are rooms in an old house. They don't have a parking lot. You can park your car on the street. The building does not have an elevator, but there are quite a few stairs. The receptionist helped us carry our suitcases up the stairs. Of course, we carried down them ourselves. Many statues/ornaments were placed in the room. They take a deposit of €200. Probably just in case any of decorations breaks. The closet is not big. The window is small (too small). Heating is with air conditioning. There is a lot if moist in the room. They didn't have breakfast (they did sell it to us) in the building. They gave us coupons for breakfast at a restaurant elsewhere. Which is not a problem... but... Then there waiter says that you don't get breakfast, but only 1 coffee or 1 juice + one pastry of your choice (croissant, brioche). That is not breakfast. They also don't offer free coffee in the room it is 2.5€ nesspreso. The room was clean. But they don't clean it every day during your stay. However, there are no slippers in the room, which hotels usually offer. There is no shampoo and conditioner to wash the hair.

Pro: Great night. The room was superb and Giovanni was very welcoming and helpful !

Pro: Location was central and close to restaurants and attractions. Appartment was very comfortable clean and spacious

An experience to remember in Catania close to the fish market.

Pro: The interior design was quite stunning and the rooms had everything we needed as well as a lovely general breakfast room with coffee and snacks available at all times of the day. The welcome Prosecco provided by Adriano our host was a nice surprise also.

Contro: The fact that we thought it was a hotel but it was really a B&b on the second floor of a very old building with no lift. Probably not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Also we had some dampness in our bathroom and the wall was crumbling.

Pro: Our accommodations were rooms off huge common space. Kitchen if you wanted to cook. Living room space that looked over a quiet street. Owners were friendly and very helpful Altho they were only on the premises during the day but could be contacted by phone. It was three flights up and no elevator. Further from center of town but doable if you like to walk. Little grocery store and bakery block away but closed on Sunday. Owners sent our laundry out and returned next day at reasonable price.

Pro: Very nice room. A couple hundred meters from the city centre.

Pro: The unique Sicilian artworks and decor really make this accomodation stand out. The fact that is was well sized, well equiped and super comfortable made our brief stay memorable.

Contro: Not complaints here!
