Buon soggiorno, ci ritornerei

Pro: Abbiamo apprezzato molto il soggiorno: il centro si raggiunge facilmente a piedi, il che rende la posizione davvero comoda. La casa e la camera sono molto grandi, pulite e dotate di tutto il necessario. I letti sono estremamente comodi, garantendo un ottimo riposo. La cucina in comune è ben attrezzata e fornita di tutto l’occorrente per preparare i pasti. Pur essendo una camera quadrupla con bagno esterno, quest’ultimo era ad uso esclusivo, quindi comunque molto pratico e confortevole. L’host è stata inoltre molto disponibile e gentile, sempre pronta ad aiutarci per qualsiasi necessità. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Contro: Siamo arrivati la sera tardi, quindi abbiamo effettuato il self check-in. Tuttavia ho dovuto chiamare l’host perché non ci erano state inoltrate le indicazioni per entrare nell’appartamento. Inoltre non è stato semplice trovare la cassetta di sicurezza per prendere le chiavi: nonostante le indicazioni, era appesa a un palo all’angolo della via, in una posizione piuttosto nascosta e di notte non facilmente visibile. Consiglierei di fare una foto del punto esatto in cui viene posizionata e inviarla insieme alle istruzioni per l’ingresso. Un altro piccolo appunto riguarda il condizionatore presente in camera (che dovrebbe fare sia aria calda che fredda): purtroppo non funzionava al 100% e la stanza risultava piuttosto fredda. Infine, non per colpa dei proprietari, l’ingresso del portone del palazzo non è tra i più belli che abbia mai visto, ma per fortuna una volta entrati nell’appartamento l’ambiente ha tutt’altro aspetto ed è molto più accogliente. Durante i giorni di permanenza non viene effettuata la pulizia delle camere né il cambio degli asciugamani. Inoltre per la doccia viene fornito un bagnoschiuma in un dispenser che viene riempito di volta in volta e il sapone per le mani, quindi consiglio di portare con sé il proprio sapone intimo. Consiglierei anche di aggiungere un tappetino più grande per la doccia, perché uscendo bagnati si rischia di allagare facilmente il bagno e potrebbe esserci il rischio di scivolare. Inoltre il bidet ha uno spruzzo piuttosto forte che tende a bagnare anche il pavimento.

Pro: La camera era molto ampia e i letti comodissimi. La casa era fornita di tutto.

Pro: La struttura si trova in una posizione tranquilla e abbastanza centrale. La stanza è spaziosa e i letti comodi. L'host é molto gentile e disponibile.

Contro: Trattandosi di un palazzo antico, gli infissi non sono il massimo. Il bagno, inoltre, pur essendo privato, si trova all'esterno della camera e in fondo al corridoio, il che lo rende un po' scomodo. Tuttavia, se siete in grado di adattarvi, la sistemazione sarà più che buona, considerato il prezzo e la posizione centrale.

Pro: La disponibilità dei Guest è formidabile. Mi hanno fatto tutte le info possibili e mi hanno seguito passo passo per raggiungere la locazione. La camera è in buone condizioni

Contro: Il bagno in comune non è il massimo, specialmente se è necessario attraversare il corridoio che da sulle camere, la sala d'ingresso e parte della sala da pranzo/cucina. La posizione centrale è buona ma difficilmente raggiungibile per una prima volta a Catania.

Very friendly staff, good location

Pro: Our room was located in a very large apartment, which had a hall, a separate kitchen (where you could have tea or coffee), a bathroom, a cosy balcony and three separate rooms that could be locked with a key. On the night we stayed, we were the only guests in the entire apartment, as the other two rooms were empty. The location is quite convenient, close to the main attractions of the city. It was also quiet at night. AlbaChiara Guesthouse is located on the second floor of a residential building, where there are other apartments with regular residents.

Contro: We checked in late in the evening, and from the outside the building looked as if no one lived there (old catanian building), which made us a bit uneasy at first. However, inside it turned out to be quite comfortable, convenient and safe.

Pro: The location! Right in the heart of the city. Also I was welcomed in a very nice way by the host, even though I was quite late because of a flight delay.

Contro: Can't think of anything.

Pro: Amazing location, close to the tourist attractions with lots of food options around. Amazing, helpful and very nice host.

Contro: There were some mosquitoes but the anti mosquito device was provided so it wasn’t a big deal.

Perfect Base for Exploring Catania

Pro: We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Catania. The location was ideal—very close to the historical area, making it easy to explore the city's main sights, restaurants, and atmosphere on foot. Our family room was exactly as described: very clean and spacious, with plenty of room to relax after a day of sightseeing. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was of nice quality, ensuring a great night's sleep. The private bathroom is not en-suite, but it was private for our use and this arrangement did not bother us at all. Above all, the hosts were exceptional—extremely friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive to any questions we had. Their hospitality truly made our trip special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return on our next trip to Catania. Thank you for a lovely experience!

I love any Italian city.

Pro: I really liked the atmosphere of the apartment, like at home: a large room, a kitchen, only three rooms in total, no one bothered us, very close to the center and the metro, I recommend it. A large 4-bed room with a balcony for only 2 people, perfect overall.

Contro: Only 2 complaints: The key had to be picked up at a different address. The bathroom is outside the room.

Pro: The accommodation was spacious and the double bed was really comfortable. Sara, the owner speaks excellent English, which made communication very easy. She recommended lots of programmes and place to visit. 😊
