Pro: L'appartamentino è molto piacevole, pieno di dettagli di classe che ti fanno sentire nel tuo nido, e ti vien voglia di fermarti dei giorni in più. Io ci sono stato 5 notti e sarei rimasto ancora. La strada sottostante è poco trafficata, soprattutto la notte. Se avete l'auto trovate parcheggio comodo a pagamento modico lungo la vicinissima via Garibaldi, verso la parte meno centrale, a 5 10 minuti di cammino. Probabilmente esistono anche altre soluzioni. Il wifi è ottimo. Esistono anche ferro e asse da stiro. La zona cucina sembra molto funzionale. Io ho usato solo il bollitore e il microonde. I rapporti col gestore, che ha fornito tutte le indicazioni necessarie, sono stati rapidi e piacevoli.

Contro: Non ho avuto problemi particolari, ma è giusto dare alcune indicazioni. Dato il soffitto molto alto il soppalco con la zona letto è elevato, e la scala per raggiungerlo piuttosto ripida e stretta. Bisogna fare attenzione quando salite o scendete con valige pesanti. L'ampia finestratura della zona giorno è oscurata solo con una tenda bianca trasparente. La luce non entra mai violenta, soprattutto nella zona notte, ma chi dorme solo con il buio totale è meglio si doti di mascherina per gli occhi.

Contro: la posizione, anche se molto vicina a molti dei maggiori punti attrattivi della città, la sensazione è che la zona non sia molto tranquilla, o almeno questa era la percezione. Noi siamo stati una notte ed è filato tutto liscio

Pro: Posizione ottima per visitare Catania. Staff gentile e disponibile. Appartamento dotato di tutti i comfort e arredato con gusto.

Beside the heat, everything else was fine. We had a pleasant stay.

Pro: Oratio was very friendly and tried to make us our stay as good as possible. The apartment is located close to a supermarket and about 5minutes walk from the cathedral in the center. The apartment is quite spacious and we had everything we needed.

Contro: Unfortunately it was difficult for me sleeping upstairs because all the heat is getting there and we couldn’t let the AC on for too many hours. But this was just my perception because my friend, I was with there, could sleep very well beside the heat. And if you leave the door from the terrace open, you might hear some noise early in the morning, from the sicilian neighbors or cars/scooters.

Pro: Quite good location:10-15 min walk to main attractions,piazza,restaurants etc. A reasonably equipped kitchen,stocked with coffee capsules and tea. Atmospheric mezzanine.

Contro: -lack of darkened curtains -very uncomfortable,hard pillows -dirty, a bit neglected balcony

Very stylish studio in the city centre

Pro: Absolutely wonderful! This place is in a great location, 10 minutes to the main square, a lot of restaurants and cafes around, walking distance to airport bus (15 min). It is city centre so evenings could get more noisy, but I wouldn't be expecting anything else from a vibrant Catania. The apartment is beautiful and super comfortable. We used it for remote work as well and the internet connection worked well. The bed is comfy, fully equipped kitchen and a new bathroom. We had everything that we needed and more. Small balcony leads to a quiet street, perfect for a morning coffee. The communication with the owner was super smooth and nice, we even did an early check-in which was nice.

Contro: It was not an issue for us as we were looking for an apartment in city centre - it can get noisy. I would recommend ear plugs if you are sensitive. If you are driving, parking will get difficult there.

Pro: The ceiling had antique paint left which really make the apartment look charming. It had all needed equipment.

Contro: In general it was not an issue but could be an area for improvement. As it was January, it was cold outside during the nights so air conditioning was used. But windows are old (same as doors) and all heat goes out and lots of condensate on the window in the morning. It is a waste of energy.
