About us

Our elegant B&B is located in a late 1800 building, in the most central square of Catania, piazza Stesicoro. This square, where you find the main entrance of the Roman Amphitheatre, is crossed by via Etnea where it is possible to do shopping. In the square you can also visit the typical market called “a fera o’ luni”.

From Piazza Stesicoro you can easily reach all destinations by bus and you are very close to the new stop of  Metropolitana.

The apartment has been recently fully renovated respecting the classical style and putting a modern touch.

The house is composed of 3 large rooms with private balcony  with view on the square, ceiling frescoes, en-suite bathroom, TV, air conditioning, heating, Internet FIBRA WIFI.

Aunt Pin and Uncle Angel

The building, dating back to the late 800’s, was bought in 1908 by a ship owner of Genoa who felt in love with a Sicilian lady and decided to start a family.

His son Angelino married our aunt Giuseppina dearly called “zia Pin” who lived in the house until the end of the 70’s with my grandmother.

The ancient Olympia theatre belonged to the palace and was one of the first cinemas in the town. The cinema has been recently bought out by McDonald where you can admire the wonderful Liberty stucco.
